From Kellyville to Portfolio Powerhouse: Rohit Gehlot’s Inspiring Journey
By Rajiv Chaudhri - Editor in Chief
When Rohit Gehlot arrived in Australia in 2017, he carried more than just suitcases, he brought hope, ambition,
and a modest $7 000 in his pocket. Landing first in Kellyville, this IT and data engineering expert quickly found work and began building a life for his family, despite starting with a negative bank balance and even borrowing money from a cousin to buy a car.
By May 2019, Rohit turned his first domestic purchase into a growth opportunity, investing in his principal residence just before the Sydney Metro Northwest launch and government backed interest rate cuts, which fuelled the property’s rapid appreciation. From there, his real estate ambitions took flight. He acquired his first investment property in 2021 and, alongside his wife’s support, added three more by November that year, all cash flow positive. Between March and June 2022, three additional properties joined his portfolio, each delivering rental yields north of 7 per cent.
Driven by demonstrated success and a passion for helping others, Rohit founded Investor Aid, where he serves as Director and Principal Buyer’s Agent. His data‑driven strategies, in‑depth market research, and negotiating expertise now empower families across Australia to take their first steps toward financial freedom and early retirement.
From humble beginnings in Kellyville to overseeing a multimillion‑dollar property portfolio, Rohit Gehlot stands as a testament to resilience, strategy, and dreaming big.
