Alive 90.5 FM is a vibrant community radio station broadcasting from Baulkham Hills, Sydney, serving the Hills District, Parramatta, and Cumberland regions. Established in 1992 as 2CCR, the station rebranded to Alive 90.5 in 2011, embodying its mission: “Your Sound. Your Community.”
Operating 24/7, Alive 90.5 offers a diverse mix of programming. Weekday mornings feature shows like Breakfast and Morning Magazine, delivering news, traffic, and interviews with local figures. Cultural programs like Afghanistan Australia Radio and Air Kokooo celebrate multicultural voices, while Sunday Sports Roundup covers local sports teams.
Run entirely by volunteers under Cumberland Community Radio Inc., the station is funded through memberships, sponsorships, and grants. Listeners can tune in via 90.5 FM or stream online through the station’s website.
