Grants now open to help prevent gender-based violence
NSW Department of Communities and Justice
The NSW Government is supporting safer communities by investing in prevention-focused initiatives to stop domestic and family violence before it starts. 🤝
A new grant program is now open to support the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, held from 25 November to 10 December.
$100,000 is available for local projects that promote gender equality, positive masculinity and reject violence against women.
Local Domestic and Family Violence Committees and networks can apply for $2,500 to $5,000 to deliver awareness-raising activities in partnership with councils, schools and community organisations.
This grant program is part of the NSW Government’s $38 million Pathways to Prevention Strategy, supporting a whole-of-community response to domestic, family and sexual violence.
Applications close Wednesday 3 September 2025, 5pm AEST.
