Wheels of Kindness: Kenthurst Rotary Serving Hope Across The Hills

One of the defining traits of The Hills community is our instinctive desire to help those who need it most. That spirit of compassion was beautifully on display when I joined Kenthurst Rotary for an evening as they served meals to local disadvantaged and homeless residents, a moving reminder that kindness truly drives our community forward.

 

Every Tuesday and Thursday evening, the Kenthurst Rotary team rolls out their mobile service, offering free food, hot drinks, and companionship to those doing it tough. Beyond the nourishment, they serve something far greater, a sense of dignity, belonging, and hope.

 

• Tuesdays, 6 – 8 pm: Salvation Army, 277 New Line Road, Dural

• Thursdays, 6 – 8 pm: Power Ford, 17 Victoria Avenue, Castle Hill

 

The team’s mission is simple yet profound to ensure no one in The Hills goes hungry or feels forgotten. Their selfless work embodies the Rotary motto of Service Above Self and continues to make a real difference in people’s lives.

 

If you’re a local resident in a position to help, consider joining Kenthurst Rotary or volunteering even a few hours a month. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps keep this compassionate initiative on the road.
