This week, Premier Chris Minns, Member for Riverstone Warren Kirby & I had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Chahat from The Ponds High School as part of her workplace learning – and wow, did she shine.
Chahat stepped into the world of politics with grace, confidence, and a level of professionalism that left us all in awe. Her work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail rivalled that of seasoned professionals, and her contribution was not only impressive – it was inspiring.
She reminded us of the power of potential, and why school workplace placements are more than just a box to tick. They’re a chance for young people to explore who they are, stretch into new environments, and surprise even themselves.
Chahat is a credit to her school, her family, and her generation. The future is in very capable hands – and we can’t wait to see where her journey takes her next.
