Aunty Roslyn Fogg, a Dharug Elder, was recently awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM)

Congratulations to Aunty Ros for all her dedicated work and service to Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders.

As part of NAIDOC Week, we proudly acknowledge Aunty Ros, who was recently honoured in the King’s Birthday Honours for her outstanding service to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Her recognition reflects decades of unwavering dedication, grounded in cultural responsibility, advocacy, and service.

Aunty Ros has contributed significantly through her involvement with the Muru Mittigar Aboriginal Cultural Centre, her consultancy work on major projects, and her role in delivering Welcome to Country ceremonies. Often working in voluntary and emotionally demanding roles, she has played an essential part in supporting and strengthening her community.

Her Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) is a long-overdue tribute to her tireless efforts and cultural leadership.
