Castle Towers Unveils Major Retail Expansion for 2026

By Rajiv Chaudhri Editor-In-Chief

The Hills District is set for another significant boost to its retail and lifestyle offering, with Castle Towers announcing an exciting new retail precinct scheduled to commence construction in early 2026.

The expansion will introduce a dynamic line-up of some of Australia’s most loved lifestyle, sport and beauty brands, reinforcing Castle Towers’ position as the region’s premier shopping and social destination. Anchoring the new precinct will be global category leaders JD Sports and Lululemon, joined by popular Australian favourites City Beach and LSKD. Shoppers can also look forward to enhanced and new-format stores from Nike, Universal Store and Kookai.

Spanning two levels, the new zone has been designed to deliver more choice, energy and convenience, reflecting the evolving way the Hills community shops and connects. A key feature of the development includes a new 155-bay car park, with easy access from Eric Felton Street, improving accessibility for visitors.

This latest expansion follows the highly successful launch of Castle Towers’ elevated fashion precinct in November 2025. That development introduced sought-after brands such as Aje, Kivari, Oroton, P.E Nation and Tommy Hilfiger, alongside refreshed concepts from R.M. Williams and Camilla, with Polo Ralph Lauren set to arrive soon.

Centre Manager Anthony Wilson said the new precinct represents another important step in the centre’s evolution, bringing fresh energy and experiences aligned with community expectations.

As part of this transition, David Jones has concluded its long-standing presence at Castle Towers, making way for the new multi-brand precinct and broader retail mix.

Construction will begin in January 2026, with works carefully staged to minimise disruption. Progress updates will be shared via the Castle Towers website as the project takes shape.
